Stardew valley accidentally hit fruit tree with ax during early spring build. Why?

Note: This is a work in progress, and not meant to be a final “how to”. Please be aware that the following information is very experimental, and that I’ve made no formal testing of any kind, and would like to ask any and all who read this if you’ve had any success with the techniques presented here – especially any bugs.

I’ve decided to do something I haven’t done here in a while – a walkthrough of a build, specifically at the beginning stages. I’ll be running this walkthrough over the weekend, and hope to have some interesting results and insights to share with everyone.

For walkthrough purposes, I’ll be changing some variable names for a cleaner/shorter read. If you want to know the actual names for your own builds, they’re in my “.txt” files, with a little color-coding to differentiate them.

If you’re using a different game engine, please substitute where necessary.

NOTE: If you’re using Stardew Valley, you’ll need to make sure you have the latest patch. I’ve tested on the latest version of the game.
