Origin

It is probably native to the coasts of North Africa, derived from a Persian columbled pigeon. It is mentioned for the first time by Shakespeare and a century later, by Willoughby.

Overall impression

Category: Caromed Pigeons.
Colombo of medium size, collected, wide, low on the legs, with a large head, nasal caruncles very developed, contours of the wide eyes of coral red color.

Breed coats

White, black, dark stone, red, yellow, blue with black rods, silver blue with dark rods, piebald in the aforementioned colors.
